Lemon Star Larder is offering a CSK
(Community Supported Kitchen) subscription through In The Kitchen 648 Zion St.
Nevada City. This is a 3-week subscription each month. This
subscription offering will be available through the summer months of 2012 for
periods of 3 weeks. Items are created and prepared by Jessica Flanigan,
nutritionist, licensed caterer and food enthusiast. Each week's box will
include 5-6 items that will vary each week depending on what is in season and
available from local farms. Fresh salads like raw kale with dehydrated local
blueberries, a hot item like eggplant stuffed with lemon ricotta, baked goods
such as pie in jars or savory wild mushroom bread pudding, lacto-fermented
sodas, homemade condiments like creme fraiche, salted caramel sauce, and
mustard are examples of what will be included.
Cost: $55 per week plus a $10 packaging fee
Total for 3 week subscription: $175
Packaging fee includes jars and bottles
Pickup Dates are 3 Wednesdays a month
